LA PORCELAINE CIRCA 1760, UNE PARTIE DU DECOR PLUS TARDIF
D'après le modèle de Duplessis, de forme balustre, muni de deux anses, le col appliqué de deux têtes d'éléphant, à décor polychrome sur chaque face de putti assis sur des nuages dans des cartouches or; le corps et l'épaule avec guirlandes de fleurs dans des réserves se détachant sur un fond vert, en partie appliqué de rangs de perles en relief; une trompe et une section de la base restaurées;
la monture rocaille en bronze doré formant base et reposant sur quatre pieds

Cette forme a été produite en trois grandeurs de 1757 à 1760.
Un exemplaire similaire est illustré par Marcelle Brunet et Tamara Préaud dans Sèvres, des origines à nos jours, Fribourg, 1978, p.56, pl.XIV.
