Rau with his stamp, preserving the original lithographed front wrapper for each part, blank spine with raise bands, gilt edges, gilt turn-in. Provenance: Sergei Aleksandrovich, Grand Duke of Russia (1857-1905; bookplate) -- A.A. Kurenkov (booklpate designed by Solomonov) -- Ninov (inscription).
SERGEI ALEKSANDROVICH'S COPY, IN A BINDING BY RAU. Grand Duke Sergei, son of Alexander II, was later Governor General of Moscow, and chairman of the Russian Musical Society. RARE: apparently not in WorldCat.
