Contemporary blue leather, spine and upper side titled and ruled in gilt, the upper side bearing the double-headed eagle of the Russian Empire, white moiré-style endpapers, gilt edges (extremities lightly rubbed). Provenance: Nicholas II of Russia (bookplate).
FIRST EDITION. NICHOLAS II'S COPY of this invaluable guide to the structure and regulation of the Imperial Navy. These annuals were published in small numbers and are rare: WorldCat locates just one copy, at Harvard University. Zaionchkovskii 885.
