TWO SINO-TIBETAN SEATED GILT BRONZE BUDDHAS
18TH CENTURY
Each meditative figure with tightly curled hair is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base with beaded borders that is incised to the reverse with a Tibetan lanca inscription, each wears a robe with scrolling floral borders that falls in pleats on to the base, the hands of the first are held in bhumisparsa mudra and the second in dharmachakra mudra.
