A CARVED PALE CELADON JADE VASE, HU
18TH CENTURY
The archaistic vase is carved to its slender body with a band of taotie masks between further bands of keyfret to the mouth rim and foot, a dragon encircles the neck, the stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet inclusions.
6 3/4 in. (17 cm.) high
Provenance
Acquired by the vendor's family in the 1950s and thence by descent.
