A PALE CELADON JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE
18TH CENTURY
The vase with flanges to either side of its body is carved either side of its central section with a large taotie mask, the neck is decorated with an archaistic band of stiff leaves and the foot with pendant lappets, the stone is of a pale tone with cloudy inclusions.
