YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-35)
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with a continuous leafy scroll of stylised hibiscus between underglaze blue bands of ruyi heads and a geometric design, double underglaze blue bands encircle the foot and the interior of the rim, the interior similarly decorated with a central medallion, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua underglaze blue six-character mark.
7½ in. (18.9 cm.) diam.
