A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE 'PHOENIX' DISHES
DAOGUANG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-50)
Each dish is painted in rich tones with a pair of stylised phoenixes with wings extended each holding a small spring in their beaks, the exterior is similarly decorated with a pair of phoenixes in pursuit.
