A BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' BOWL
JIAQING UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND PROBABLY OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The vessel is decorated to the exterior with two five-clawed dragons trailing flames and pursuing each other amidst cloud scrolls, all between double underglaze blue lines encircling the rim and foot, the interior with a medallion enclosing a dragon, the base with a six-character Jiaqing seal mark.
5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) diam.
