CIRCA 1730, PERHAPS TURIN
The centre painted with a figure of Venus seated on drapery beside a dolphin issuing water from its mouth, within a shaped panel with dolphin supports and enclosed by birds, snails and two caryatids holding baskets of fruit on their heads linked by flowers, foliage, strapwork and scrolls, the border with blue loops and moulded fluting (slight wear to glaze at centre)
