Circular, with scalloped rim, painted after a design by Sergei Tchekhonin, centring cobalt blue hammer, sickle and cog, within vari-coloured scrolling flowers, with rim painted with turquoise, ochre and brown stylised foliage, marked under base with green underglaze factory mark and blue overglaze hammer, sickle and cog, and the date '1921'; also with green overglaze letter 'Z' and underglaze 'V' in a square
