Sphere device on title, woodcut opening initial. (Light spotting.) Red straight-grained morocco by R. Payne, flat spine directly lettered and with compartments divided by dots, sides with dotted border, gilt fillet on turn-ins, marbled endpapers, gilt edges, later gilt supralibros. Provenance: Thorold family, Syston Park (bookplate) -- William Beckford (Hamilton Palace Sale, July 1883, lot 1444) -- purchased from Ch. Bosse, 1926. BECKFORD COPY bound by Roger Payne.
