A PALE GREYISH-GREEN JADE FACETED GU-FORM VASE, FANGGU
19TH CENTURY
The vase is of rectangular section and is carved on each side of the flaring neck and tall hollow foot with blades, and on the mid-section with taotie masks. The neck is flanked by angular loop handles suspending loose rings. The stone is semi-translucent and of even pale greyish-green color.
6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high
