A FINELY ENAMELED FAMILLE ROSE SAUCER DISH
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)
The thinly potted dish is painted on the interior in bright pastel enamels with a pair of mandarin ducks swimming in a pond beside roses and asters growing from perforated rock formations. The everted rim is painted with sprays of roses and asters.
6 3/8 in. (16.3 cm.) diam.
