A VERY FINELY ENAMELED FAMILLE ROSE RUBY-BACK SAUCER DISH
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)
The thinly potted dish is finely painted in bright pastel enamels on the interior with a bird perched in the branches of a blossoming crab-apple tree growing amidst peonies below the everted rim painted with interspersed sprays of fruits and flowers. The underside of the rim is covered in a bright rose-pink enamel.
