GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The deep, rounded sides rise to a slightly galleried rim with gilt edge, and are decorated on the exterior with four lotus plants with scrolling tendrils rising from a band of cresting waves above a band of blue key fret encircling the foot. The sides of the interior are decorated with a band of lotus scroll above a stylized lotus spray in the center.
