A DERUTA GOLD-LUSTRE TWO-HANDLED BALUSTER VASE
CIRCA 1530
With scrolling strap handles, painted in blue and enriched in gold lustre, the upper part with panels of scrolling foliage, the mid-section with a wreath, the lower part with simulated spiralling gadroons, on a spreading foot with stiff leaf ornament, hairline crack to neck, stained crazing, small glaze flake to body, flat footrim chip
