A covered vase with similar decoration is illustrated in B. Veith, Aesthetic Ambitions: Edward Lycett and Brooklyn's Faience Manufacturing Company, 2011, pp. 70-71. She notes that pieces of this decoration are often inscribed '93', as this one is, as a code for the decorator or motif.
