A PALE CELADON JADE CRANE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The recumbent bird is carved with its head turned over its body and a pine sprig in its mouth, feet tucked underneath, its feathers finely detailed, the stone with russet and cloudy inclusions.
3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) long
Provenance
Private UK Collection, aquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s.
With Jade House, purchased 24 June 1957.
