A PALE CELADON JADE CENSER AND COVER
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The vessel has twin handles terminating in dragon heads with loop rings. The exterior is carved with scrolling archaistic beasts above pendant lappets enclosing dragon heads between borders of key fret scroll to the rim and foot. The domed cover has a Buddhist lion finial and is similarly decorated.
6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) diam.
