A FAMILLE ROSE BRUSH POT
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-49)
The brush pot is shaped as an open book, labelled Fei ying ge cong hua to the spine. It is decorated and gilt with butterflies between bands of flowers at the foot rim and the mouth rim, all accompanied with lines of inscription with an iron-red seal, the base with iron-red Shen de tang zhi mark.
