INCISED QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
It has rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim and is covered all over with a deep purple glaze. The interior is incised with a central medallion enclosing a frontal five-clawed dragon writhing above a flaming pearl amidst clouds, the exterior incised with two five-clawed dragons each chasing a flaming pearl amidst clouds.
7½ in. (18.5 cm.) diam.
