THREE CELADON JADE PLAQUES
19TH/20TH CENTURY
The first is carved and pierced in the form of a double gourd flanked by two auspicous bats, decorated with the characters da and qi. The second is of rectangular form and depicts a Buddhist lion with a brocade ball under its paw, the reverse with calligraphy. The third is a further rectangular plaque, incised with a quail and millet plant to one side, the reverse with calligraphy.
