Circular with ovolo border, applied underneath with cut-card decoration, the detachable foot with foliage borders, marked on reverse of dish, the foot unmarked
12¾ in. (30 cm.) diam.
45 oz. 15 dwt. (1,422 gr.)
The arms are those of Fountaine of Narford Hall, co. Norfolk almost certainly for Sir Andrew Fountaine (1676-1753) eldest son of Andrew Fountaine (1632-1707). He was a gifted scholar and art collector.
