With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch is set with 30 baguette diamonds weighing 2.69 carats in 1973 and its subsequent sale on 27 July 1973. Furthermore delivered with a Patek Philippe slip case.

The present lot is a rare specimen, in overall excellent condition and furthermore fresh to the market.

Reference 3540 was manufactured from 1968 to 1976. A detailed count reveals that less than 8 examples of this reference have appeared at auction to date.
