PUNJAB, MUGHAL INDIA, LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Of circular form with four bosses, the wide borders with a very fine damascened motif of a deer and birds amongst foliage intersected by lobed cartouches containing inscriptions in nasta'liq script, thin double band either side, each boss with birds in combat amongst flowers, the interior with original brown velvet lining and attachment loops, in good condition
