A LARGE IVORY MODEL OF AN OXEN-DRAWN CART
POSSIBLY LUCKNOW, INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
On rectangular wooden base on four ivory lion's paw feet, the engraved decoration showing the oxen adorned with floral patterned textile and headdress, wearing neck adornments, the covered cart sheltering a family with the turbaned father steering whilst smoking from a portable huqqa, a dog walking beneath, a lamp hanging from the frame of the cart, in good condition
