With fine slender tapering double-edged blade of hollow diamond section with serrated edges and cut with narrow fullers on each face pierced with minute dots and slots, reinforced point, and grooved rectangular ricasso pierced en suite, iron guard with narrow pointed quillon-block painted with the inventory no. '7672', slender arched quillons of hexagonal section each with scrolled tip, and small swelled side-ring with medial ridge, later spirally grooved wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and associated flattened faceted globular pommel painted with the inventory no. '49'
