Koshirae [mounting]: wakizashi koshirae, black-lacquered saya ribbed in the upper part, fuchigashira of shakudo with gold inlay carved and inlaid in high relief with flowers in Mino style, menuki of chrysanthemum leaves and blossoms in shakudo with gold inlay, rounded square iron tsuba with raised rim with gold inlaid angled lines, the flat with stylized clematis flowers and leafy scrolling in gold inlay, kozuka of shakudo with inlaid panel to which is applied a matchlock gun in copper, shakudo, and gold high-relief inlay signed Tomotoshi and with a kao, the blade engraved with Shoki (the Demon Queller), shibuichi kogai with a treasure-boat in high-relief inlay of gold, shakudo, and silver among deeply carved waves on a nanako panel
