Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Kyoto ju Miyabe Atsuyoshi saku
Each vase of elongated ovoid form with applied iron foot, decorated in gold, silver, shakudo, shibuichi and copper takazogan and nunomezogan with dancing lions and facing phoenixes elaborately detailed with a string of jewels, tassels, a small crest of paulownia, the upper body with a pair of flying phoenixes and scrolling flowers; signature on base
