Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Yoshimasa with mark of Nogawa
The rectangular box on four short bracket feet, the lid chiseled and inlaid in gold, silver, shakudo and copper with a rooster perched on a blossoming plum tree, signed on top and seal mark on base
3 x 4½ x 1½in. (7.6 x 11.4 x 3.8cm.)
