The deep bowl set on a high, circular foot with slightly curving upright walls ending in a rolled rim, decorated on the upper half of the exterior with a thick coating of white slip, the lower half gray from the firing, the interior completely coated with thick white slip and the entire vessel save the foot rim applied with a transparent glaze that lends the gray exterior a greenish tinge
