Bhutan, 17th/18th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the principle hands folded in anjalimudra and the upper hands in vitarkamudra, dressed in billowing robes and adorned with various jewelry inset with hardstones, the face with heavy-lidded eyes surmounted by a foliate tiara, the hair arranged in a conical chignon with locks escaping over the shoulders
