AN UNUSUAL OCTALOBED BRONZE CENSER

The censer has upright sides cast as eight lobes that rise to the rim from the flat base and three integral supports, and is flanked by a pair of trilobed handles. An apocryphal Xuande mark is cast within a rectangle on the base.
