AN ARCHAISTIC PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE FLATTENED SQUARE BALUSTER VASE
18TH CENTURY
Of flattened baluster form, the vase is well carved in low relief on both sides with a large taotie mask below a wide petal-lappet band and beneath a pair of ruyi-form handles flanking the neck. The neck and foot are encircled by a key-fret border. The lustrous stone is of greenish-white tone with some white inclusions.
