A BLACK AND BUFF OPAQUE JADE FIGURE OF A RECUMBENT TIGER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The recumbent tiger is shown with head turned back above the front paws. The eyes are rounded below the brows, and the laid-back ears are hollowed. The opaque stone is of mottled blackish-grey and buff color.
