THREE SMALL DARK GREY AND WHITE JADE CARVINGS
19TH CENTURY
All are carved in the round and in openwork: one with a lion-dog carved from the grey area of the stone playing with its cub amidst trailing ribbons carved from the white areas; one in the form of three caltrops, the largest and a smaller one carved from the grey area on one side, and the third small caltrop carved from the white area on the reverse; the third is carved as a white coin sandwiched at an angle between two dark grey bats.
