A PALE OLIVE-GREY JADE VASE, COVER AND STAND
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The vase is of flattened, baluster shape and oval section, and is carved in low relief on one side with a pair of birds perched on a rose branch, and on the reverse with a pair of birds perched in a flowering tree. A pair of flower-stem handles suspending loose rings flanks the shoulders, and small openwork scrolls flank the neck. The cover has a flower-bud finial flanked by loops suspending further loose rings, and the stand is raised on four ruyi-shaped feet.
