Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the holy man seats on a terrace against a large purple and green bolster, he holds a rosary, a manuscript, a spittoon and candles around him, he wears white robes and a pink stole, with a white and purple turban, laid down on cream card between finely illuminated floral borders, an identification inscription in black naskh script above
