Opaque pigments and gold on paper, standing and facing left, the very finely painted face with white beard, the aged man wearing white turban and diaphanous jama over yellow and purple trousers, his right hand rests on a katar and his left hand holds his sword, wearing an embroidered gold sash around the waist, standing on green ground against a light green background, with high skyline, laid down on card with finely illuminated borders with gold foliage, the reverse with a nasta'liq quatrain, laid down between pink and blue highlighted with gold floral meander, signed Muhammad Rafi', mounted, glazed and frame
