Geographia. [ca. 1561]. 2° (400 x 175mm). 50 engraved maps, all but one double-page. (Lacking title, a2 and possibly some maps, one map with a hole, marginal repairs and wormtracks, some soiling and browning.) 18th-century half vellum, shelf label on spine (extremities rubbed, corners bumped). Provenance: ?Rogovic (ownership inscriptions dated 1632 on title and annotations) -- Attilio Cordignano Parroco, Fusine in Valromana (stamps on title) -- Compagnia del Gesú, Roma (book label).

A collection of 50 maps by Ptolemy sold as viewed and not subject to return. The maps were probably issued in Vienna in 1561.
