Oval on four paw, shell and scroll feet, the handles with shells and foliage with acanthus joins, the rim gadrooned with acanthus at intervals, the domed cover with conforming decoration, the finial realistically modeled as a branch of cauliflower and leaves, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms, the cover engraved with a helm and crest, stamped LEWIS SILVERSMITH TO HRH THE DUKE OF YORK ST. JAMES'S ST LONDON on cover bezel, marked under base, under cover, on finial and on nut
