with the 'Daughter of the Calif', three quater length, holding a tambourine, within a richly gilt well with raised flowerheads below a dark-blue ground border enriched in white enamels and gilt with an arcaded pattern within a stiff-leaf band, signed, titled in gilt Tochter des Califen, gilt and impressed numerals, blue beehive mark -- 9 5/8in. (24.5cm.) diam., circa 1900 (slight wear)
