A Vienna-style cylindrical tankard and cover
painted with 'The Triumph of Love', Cupid in a chariot drawn by three maidens, within a rectangular panel gilt with raised anthemions, on pink, lilac, blue and yellow bands enamelled and gilt with bands of leaves and pendant swags, reserved with claret-ground panels and pale yellow panels gilt with birds and scrolling foliage, the cover painted with two winged putti and doves among clouds, the interior with a single putto, the cover hinged with metal mounts with a crown thumb-piece, titled to the base Triumph des Amor., blue beehive mark -- 6 5/8in. (16.7cm.) high, late 19th century (wear to gilt handle, the hinge repaired)
