A pair of Meissen figural candelabra
applied with mythological figures of a man and a woman possibly intended to represent cup-bearers to the gods, both classically draped, lifting up goblets before eagles, the stems to the candelabra modelled as palm-trees, the branches each supporting two nozzles and encrusted with fruiting vine, enriched in colours and gilt, blue crossed swords marks, incised numbers and Pressnummern -- 15in. (38cm.) high, 19th century (damages and restoration)
