A Meissen twin-handled oviform vase
painted in the 'Limoges enamels' style in white on a blue-ground with classically draped female figures emblematic of the Elements Fire and Water, shown with their usual attributes, the handles with mask-moulded terminals, within gilt egg and dart borders and gilt rims, blue crossed swords marks and incised mark F105 -- 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high, 19th century (very slight wear to gilt)
