A PAIR OF GREEN-GLAZED TWO-HANDLED SLENDER BALUSTER VASES
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-49)
The vases are of baluster form with slender, slightly flaring necks that are applied with a pair of blue-ground biscuit scroll handles. The vases are covered to the exterior in a soft green glaze with a gilt band at the rims. The bases are painted with a four-character apocryphal Qianlong mark in blue enamel.
