A BLUE AND WHITE SLEEVE VASE
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, MID 17TH CENTURY
The vase is modelled with a flaring rim and is painted with a dignitary and his servants in a continuous landscape with plantain and rockwork, above a band of stiff leaves. The rim is embellished with a café-au-lait band.
