A BLACK-GLAZED 'OIL SPOT' BOWL
SONG/JIN DYNASTY, 12TH CENTURY
It has deep rounded sides and is covered to the exterior and interior with a lustrous black glaze suffused with silver 'oil spots'. The glaze falls short above the foot to reveal the body.
