A PALE CELADON JADE CARVING OF A CRANE
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The recumbent bird is carved with its head turned over its body and webbed feet tucked underneath. In its beak it holds a leafy peach sprig. Its feathers are finely detailed. The stone is of a pale even tone.
